Peter earned some cheesecake

I am eager to get this 9x13 pan of heart attack out of my fridge. And since Peter was so willing to have a laundry folding race with me, he just earned a piece. Better him than me- he could use some meat on those skinny bones. I made it for Bible study last night. Cuz you know it's not Bible study without dessert, right? This was the first cheesecake I ever made and I was amazed at all the bad for you things that go into it!! And at how my wrist almost broke with the weight of the bowl of cheese and eggs and flour and sugar as I attempted to pour it into the pan. Well there were only 3 of us at Bible study and that barely made a dent in it! I'd like to go back to when I thought I didn't like cheesecake. That was about a month ago when we had my sister and her husband here for the weekend. Since Dan's birthday was coming up, I decided to get some kind of dessert that he liked and my mom suggested cheesecake. That didn't excite me too much because I am a rich chocolate kind of girl. But it was his birthday after all so I picked up- or should I say lugged- one of those pretty cheesecakes out of the case at Sam's Club. You know, the big round one that's actually 4 different kinds? I figured I could stomach a few bites. After all, one was called Brownie Swirl and another was called Turtle Crunch. Can't go wrong there. Seriously after the first bite I knew I was in trouble. Needless to say, the leftovers did not head to Michigan with Dan and Racine. Unfortunately my appetite for cheesecake has been awakened. I blame Dan.

Oh that is too funny. I'll fold your laundry for a piece!

That is ONE dessert I wouldn't be tempted to eat. Just one. Out of about a million. Sigh.

I LOVE cheesecake! It is the best. I didn't think I would like it and wish too that it would go back that way. It is my weakness.
