Changes and Catching Up
-Last week we said our final good-byes to Grandma Vander Wall. Pete's grandma lived to the age of 97 and while we are sad, we are also praising God for her long and faithful life and we are praising Him for taking her home.
- Pete started a new job. It has been a great change, much needed and we are thankful for this new opportunity
-Our house is on the market. We are really hoping to get into something a bit bigger. Right now we're dealing with the challenge of trying to keep the house neat and ready for showings. Lord willing, we'll sell soon!
-Peter and Kate are enjoying the piano and were just belting out praise songs with him playing- beautiful! I'm so happy that they have this creative outlet. When I hear them play and sing together it makes the finanacial commitment of music lessons so worth it!
-We have finished the bulk of our school work and are doing a lighter schedule and getting ready to start our Tapestry of Grace adventure on July 16. If you haven't heard of this curriculum, check it out. The more I dig into the curriculum, the more impressed I am and so convinced that this is going to be WONDERFUL for our family.
-Tomorrow is our annual field trip to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and then out for pizza.
-Mother's Day we are having Pete's family over for lunch.

Sounds busy! And by the way, I love the scripture up at the top of your blog. :)
