Maddie always has a solution

A few minutes ago Maddie was asking why we are going to the YMCA later. I said it was because I didn't get up early this morning and go. She asked me why I didn't get up early and I said, "Because I was tired." "But why were you tired," she asked. That's an easy one- "Because I get tired from taking care of all FIVE of you." Without a pause she said, "we could get rid of Ella!" Thankfully, she was joking- she has a great sense of humor- and she would never want to get rid of her beloved playmate!
