Who Are You?

Okay, so I've been blogging for 3 or 4 years now. I've thought about stopping at various times because I was pretty sure only about 5 people read this. Then the other day one of my friends told me how to check my stats. I know, it's crazy that I never knew how to do that before, but anyway...I discovered that I get about 60-70 pageviews a day. And so, I ask, who are you?? Really, who is reading this blog? How about you leave a comment and say hi? It's easy, really- just sign in with your google or yahoo account. You don't have to have your own blog to comment. And if you don't already have a google or yahoo account, you can open one really quickly. It would make me feel so much better if you'd just leave a friendly little hello :)

well let me be the first one to break the ice and leave a comment and introduce myself. Well my name is Lorna mother of 3 and wife to a wonderdul man. One 7 years old, 2 years old, and an 11 months old. The 7 seven year old has ADHD, speech impairment, and a learning disability. My schedule is full constantly between doctors, school, extracurricular activities, therapists. Sometimes I have to remind myself to breath. One day browsing to the blogs late at nite I found your entry Thursday, November 18, 2010

Hi, Rachel. I have no idea how I stumbled onto your blog, but I'm glad I did! I have 5 boys ages 13, 11, and triplet 9 year olds! It's CRAZY at our house most days! We promised ourselves we would NEVER home school and I'm SO thankful that GOd changed us and now we've been homeschooling for 4 years. I love it - most days. ;o)

I love to read about your adoption. We are certified foster parents and over the last 2.5 years have taken in and returened back home 7 children - ages newborn, 11 weeks, 1, 2, 3, 3,and 4. We love having our boys involved in that ministry with us! It's not always easy to return them home but we feel blessed in being able to help!

I am praying for your trip to Africa and look forward to meeting your new son!

Oh, as for the connection...I went to high school with Sheri (Fennema) and Dan Ryken. I graduated from Illiana in 1990.

I am an adoptive mom and I think that I found your blog because we are using the same agency. We brought our son home from Ethiopia in April 2010. I have been keeping you in my thoughts as you prepare to travel to Ethiopia. Prepare to fall in love with the people and the country and especially your son. Blessings on your journey!

Hi Rachel!

It was great meeting you in Ethiopia and hope that you receive a quick embassy date. Also, can you let me know how to check my stats? I never even knew that was possible.
