Ten Stripes for Ten Years

Pete has wanted me to make him a blanket ever since I learned how to knit when Peter was a baby. Well, I kind of just laughed and always said, "yeah, right how am I ever going to have the time or the ability to spend that much money on yarn for one project??" Then I decided it would make a pretty cool TENTH anniversary gift. I started it in January and worked on it a little bit here and there for a few months. Then in May and June I started sitting and working on it for hours at a time because I wanted to actually get it done before July 15. Yesterday I finished it and since the kids had all caught on to what I was making I decided to go ahead and give it to him. I think he likes it.
